The star now wants to get back on the road to being nicotine free.

George Michael isn’t the only celebrity that has been quitting smoking. The supermodel Kate Moss has turned to hypnotherapy to cure her nicotine cravings, according to reports.

Last Wednesday was No Smoking Day in the UK. A range of events held across the country to promote smoking cessation. The president of the event is the entrepreneur Duncan Bannantyne, who is best known as a Dragons’ Den ‘dragon’.

The events’ website extolled the benefits of giving up smoking. In terms of health, people who give up smoking can substantially reduce their risk of developing common health problems such as lung cancer, and chronic heart disease. Kicking the smoking habit also brings a plethora of financial benefits, and can improve the health of those around you, by preventing passive smoking.
