Natalie Portman on smoking weed
Natalie Portman has followed in the footsteps of Cameron Diaz – and Bill Clinton, by confessing that she used to enjoy the odd ‘doobie’ in her formative years.
In light of the fact that she has roles in two upcoming ‘stoner comedies’ (Your Highness and the just-announced Best Buds), the Oscar winner revealed to Entertainment Weekly:
“I love stoner comedies. I smoked weed in college, but I haven’t smoked in years.
“I’m too old now. I’m in bed by 10pm.”
Fair enough considering she’s pregnant…
What do you think about these kind of revelations? Is it refreshing to hear a bit of honesty or do you think it’s simply an attempt to seem ‘cool’?
Not sure with Portman… She’s an amazing actress but perhaps a little… dare I say… dull?
Talking of which, fellow oh-so earnest luvvie-type Keira Knightley is reportedly dating Klaxons front-man James Righton, so I sincerely doubt she’s getting to bed for Portman’s 10pm curfew… Whatever next? Slightly boring Carey Mulligan going out with one of Mumford and Son? Oh, she is.
