Pot Shot: Hamilton says fans smoking in stands during Game

Maybe the Rangers have found something to blame their bad defense on Monday night.
The New York Post is reporting that during Game 1 of the World Series last night at AT&T Park in San Francisco, Texas Rangers outfielder Josh Hamilton could smell marijuana smoke coming from the stand.
“It was crazy,” he told The Post. “I was looking at the cops a couple of times during the game.”
Hamilton has a well documented history with substance abuse. He has made efforts to avoid encounters with drugs an alcohol whenever possible, most notably not being a part of the Rangers post-game locker room celebration when the Texas Rangers clinched the American League West Championship.
His teammates made up for that though with their now famous “Ginger Ale Showers” that they conduct so their MVP-candidate slugger can celebrate with the team.
But, Monday night was not the first time Hamilton has encountered weed since arriving in the City by the Bay for the World Series.
“My wife and I were walking down the street and there was a guy smoking a joint with a cop 50 yards away.”
