• What is a cigarette?

  
  Cigarette (French "small cigar", from cigar + -ette) paper cylinder, inside which there are finely-cut tobacco leaves. Most cigarettes have a size of 84 mm in length and 7-8 mm in diameter, also special filter, that partially reduce the concentration of toxic substances in the inhaled smoke. Most of the paper used for the manufacture of cigarettes, is made from linen or flax. It contains 20-30% calcium carbonate, which has a whitening effect.
